The classical Shaker elements of a rounded edge top, molded lip drawer and square to round turned legs can be found in this table but the desire to innovate stylistically alters the esthetics of this simple form. The three scribe lines found at the medial point of each leg is a common feature to Shaker pieces made in Maine. Pine, retaining an old or original salmon painted surface.
