A classical Sheraton example, in an excellent state of preservation, with a wonderful worn surface and substantial overhang.  Having a pine top with two drop leaves (held up on each side by two pivoting supports), above a mortise and tenon frame, standing on four ball and ring turned legs.  Birch and pine retaining an old or original red painted surface.  New England, probably NH.  Circa 1830.
H. 28”, w. 20" (37 3/4" open), l. 72”.  Overhang at ends; 11”.
