"Jacob Jones" Tall Clock


 
Having a broken arch pediment cornice with two carved pinwheels attached to a bonnet with two solid columns, a hinged arched front door and two arched glass viewing portals above a straight case with a hinged rectangular door and a bracket base with three center drops. The movement is an unsigned, brass, eight day, time and strike, with classic open pulley wheels. Maple retaining an old or original stain and varnish surface. Dated in on the inside if the case "1796". Movement recently restored to working order.

Provenance; Decended in the Bachelder Family of Loudon, NH.
