Having a broken arch pediment cornice with two carved pinwheels attached to a bonnet with two solid columns, a hinged arched front door and two arched glass viewing portals above a straight case with a hinged arched door and a bracket base with a center drop. The movement is an unsigned, brass, eight day, time and strike, with classic open pulley wheels. Birch retaining an old red stain and varnish surface. The brass finials and two plinths are appropriate replacements. Movement recently restored to working order. Probably Exeter, NH. Circa 1800.
